• I compared the current usage of energy and the current cost of that energy
with what was predicted because of the design implementations.
• Comparing the predicted cost to the actual bills, I had to estimate the monthly average that was spent on the heating/cooling and electric bills. Since the building has not been in use for a full 12 months, I had to average seven months of data.
• I added up the seven months of data and then multiplied those sums by 12/7 to find the estimated annual usage and cost.
