• We used a hand-held conductivity meter to measure the conductivity levels in each of the springs.
• The temperature of the water was taken directly from each of the springs using a hand-held thermometer.
• We took 100 mL samples of water from each of the springs.
• The chloride levels of the samples were tested with the Hach Chloride Test Kit (low-range), a drop-titration technique.
• We repeated this entire process bi-weekly, from October 27 - February 28.
