My research interests are in plasma physics, a branch of physics that deals with the properties of ionized gases. Plasma is popularly known as the fourth state of matter - about 99.9% of the observable universe is in the plasma state. Focus of my research has been on analytical and computational studies of radio wave propagation and interactions in the earth’s ionosphere. Opportunities exist for well-motivated undergraduate students to participate in certain facets of this research. For more information go to the link: http://www.haarp.alaska.edu.

Current research efforts appear in the progress report: Ionospheric modification at second harmonic.
