BOWL-A-THON (Fall 2001)
AIM
members organized and participated in a bowl-a-thon in early December 2001.
The goal of the event was to raise money for Luke House, which provides food
for Madison's hungry. AIM was able to raise almost $800 and the money was
presented to Luke House just before Christmas.

Thanks to all bowl-a-thon participants!

SOAK YOUR PROFESSOR (Spring 2002)
A FUNDRAISER FOR THE VERY SPECIAL WALK FOR THE ARTS
AIM students organized a "Soak Your
Professor" fundraiser. Jars containing pictures of willing faculty and staff
members were set out in the student activities center and students were
asked to put money into the jar(s) of the professor/staff member they would
most like to soak under a safety shower. After a week of intense
competition, Jay Hatheway (History) and Ken Jewell (Math) had the most money
in their jars and were elected to get wet. Louise Stracener was chosen in a
random drawing as the third faculty member to be showered. Soaking occurred
at noon on April 24 in 312 Sonderegger. Two hundred and forty-seven dollars were raised and donated to the
Very Special Walk for the Arts.
AIM would like to thank all who participated in this event.
